Vegan is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals.
Had an excellent experience. The young person working there was very helpful and kept a smile on their face the entire time making me feel welcome and didn’t make me feel rushed. My burrito was tasty too
I have been here a couple of times since the MCO and I thought I could drop in a review. The cafe (restaurant) shares its premises with H&K Family Vegemart. I came during MCO and parking was a breeze, plenty of parking space in front of the shop but I guess it would not represent "normal" times.
There's not that many tables set in the cafe, even though we had to pack our food home. There was plenty to choose from the menu and prices were quite affordable for the quality of food, taste and portion.
We ordered the Buttermilk Oyster Mushroom Rice (RM9.50) and Prawn Mee (RM9.50).
The rice 🍚 portion was reasonable for a full lunch and comes with generous serving of deep fried mushrooms. Since it was take out, the Buttermilk gravy was packed separately. The rice was topped with roasted black sesame and served with 2 slices of cucumber.
The Prawn Mee portion was also generous. The soup was spicy and had the prawn taste. My partner didn't complain so I guess it was great too. I included pictures of the dishes and also the menu for reference. The dim sum dish was alright too - not great though.
I would also like to mention the friendly aunty that always had suggestions for the next best vegetarian frozen foods to take along. The frozen fried chicken and vege burger 🍔patties are a treasure find for me. Will surely go back for more.
